BAND OF THE WEEK
Port O'Brien
MySpace page
Port O'Brien started out as a folkish duo from coastal California that drew inspiration from fishing expeditions in Alaska. First album All We Could Do Was Sing, recorded in San Francisco, was the result of living and working in destinations off the beaten track. The band have toured extensively with acts like Rogue Wave and Modest Mouse both in their sunny home state and here in (not so sunny) England.
